Bio
YEO SHU YI (CHEYENNE) was born and raised in Malacca, Malaysia. She started dancing ballet at the age of 12 and was formally trained under 2 dance studios in Malaysia; Tan Siow Siew School in Malacca and as well as Turning Point Dance Academy in Seremban before entering the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA). In her years at NAFA, she also has had the chance to perform in NAFA’s major productions, working with choreographers such as Filomar Tariao (“Lain” and “Hamon”) and Gillian Tan (“Phantasmagoria of Dream” and "2;1"). She also choreographed 2 pieces titled “Dilemma” for her Creation 2A and "Copy Cat" and "Dilemma II" for her Creation 3A Module in NAFA. She is grateful for her teachers, family and friends who have been supportive of her.
